First Boot
Once you attach the old original BMS to the decode battery:
- If the battery shows 100% → The decode battery is working.
(In first boot, we'll still see "Important Battery Message" appear) - If not → The decode function hasn't started yet. First, check the connection between the old original BMS and the decode battery.
At this point, some people think they need to go straight into the phone flashing process on 3u tools.
That mistake can stop the whole process from moving forward.
Second Boot
On the second boot, if no "Important Battery Message" appears, the decode battery is fully working.
But the battery health still shows 87% – that's from the old original BMS, not the decode battery.
(This is a bug introduced by Apple to limit third-party batteries – not a quality issue or defects with the decode battery.)
Next step: Flash the phone using 3uTools to change the health from 87% to 100%.
Before you start flashing:
⚠️ Back up your iPhone data first – flashing will erase everything.

What if flashing doesn't succeed?
(Under normal operation, it should work. Failure is rare.)
Important – Follow this sequence:
- First, make sure the "Unknown Part" message is gone before you start flashing.1st boot: Shows 100% battery (decode function active, but message may still appear)2nd boot: The "Unknown Part" message disappears – this means the decode battery is ready for flashing.
- Do not start flashing on the 1st boot just because you see the message. That’s a common mistake.
If flashing still fails, try these steps:
- Try flashing again (second attempt often works)
- Change your USB cable
